Groove Fellowship Announces Big Stage Debut at Winter Blast 2022

Groove Fellowship is excited to announce that they will be making their big stage debut at the 2022 Winter Blast Weekend festival in Downtown Royal Oak, MI, happening Feb 18-20.

Groove Fellowship will take the Soaring Eagle Stage on Feb 18 from 7-8 PM, bringing their unique original stylings inspired by artists like Prince, Cameo, Parliament Funkadelic, Stanley Clarke, The B-52s, and the eclectic playlists spun by Detroit’s beloved Electrifying Mojo. Groove Fellowship—with deep roots in the heart of Detroit, many members hailing from Wayne State University—is comprised of bass guitarist/lead vocalist Dan Gamlin; drummer Lem Joyner; lead guitarist Kevin Jackson; and background vocalist Shari Gamlin (cousin of Dan.) The band is managed by Tonya V. Thomas.
Groove Fellowship is a progressive-experimental group out of Detroit, which combines various elements of R&B/soul, jazz, and funk.
